How Christians Should React to AI Development
As new software and platforms seek to emulate human communication, orality, described as communication that relies on the spoken and embodied word, is at the very heart of both the constructive and destructive manifestations of emerging AI applications. As Christians called into every sphere of society, we cannot escape digital communication in today’s mediascape—it is here to stay. Nevertheless, the church cannot engage our increasingly digital-reliant world without recognizing and understanding the significance of orality and the need for balance.
